Search ends for illegal trash dumper in Comstock Township

A search was underway Tuesday for the person responsible for illegally dumping trash in Comstock Township Saturday afternoon.

In photos posted to Facebook, a man driving a white or silver Chevrolet truck with an extended cab dumped trash on township property, according to Matt Miller, Communications Development Coordinator for Comstock Township.

"It was dumped basically down a hill on our property," Miller said.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the situation has been taken care of and the garbage is expected to be cleared, according to Comstock Township officials.
